The Rockets jumped ahead of the Mavericks 10-2 after one and rolled to a 64-44 victory in 6A-Central play.

Mykale Franks led the Mavericks (5-14, 0-5) with 13 points. Elijah York finished with 10, and Jairo

Senior Brian Flanagan led the Rockets (7-10, 1-4) with 24 points. He spearheaded a big third quarter run with 12 points. In all, he had 16 second half points.

The Mavericks travel to Little Rock Tuesday to play the Tigers, then return to Fort Smith next Friday to battle Northside.
