The Southside Mavericks took Little Rock Catholic to the wire before falling late, 50-45.

Mykale Franks led the Mavericks with 14 points. Jay Washington and Caiden Laroche finished with seven and six points, respectively.

Xander Naegle and Dedrick Washington scored five points apiece. Tristan Lane added four.

The Mavericks will celebrate Senior Night Tuesday against Little Rock Christian.
